Spartan Fitness Classes

At Spartan Fitness we believe in the group encouraging and motivating each other to reach new levels of fitness. The whole gym ethos of people doing their own thing whilst avoiding eye contact with everyone else is one we are deeply against. If you join our classes you will meet some good friends who help you in your quest to get fitter and maybe even join you in the pub later to compare your aches and pains.

We run our classes in all weather; wind, rain or shine. There is nothing like training outdoors in the warm summer months. Similarly, the feeling of achievement that is gained from pushing yourself to your limits on a cold and dark winter night when everyone else is at home watching telly is hard to beat. We may need to customise some of our classes due to weather conditions but we will always make sure they are running. If in extreme cases we have to cancel any classes, arrangements will be made (i.e. extra classes laid on) to ensure that you do not lose out.

Daytime classes
If you can’t make one of our evening classes or would like extra sessions, we can also tailor small group sessions throughout the day. This may be with a few of your own friends or with a group we will put together for you. We can also do female only classes. For more details and prices for smaller classes contact us.

Personal Training
If you’d prefer to train on your own, we also do one-to-one sessions which are catered to your own personal needs. This can be done at one of the city Parks or if you don’t feel confident about training in public, in your garden or home.

Here at Spartan Fitness we try and accommodate our customers as best as possible. If through injury or holiday you cannot attend your classes for a given period, let us know and we will do what we can to help you catch up with the classes you have missed. For example, if you go on holiday for two weeks and are paying for one session a week, you can catch up by doing 2 sessions a week for the remainder of the month.
